Allergies

If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, I always recommend patch testing any new skincare product. Apply a small amount to the inside of your elbow or inner arm and wait 24 hours to check for any reaction before using more widely. It’s a simple step that helps ensure your skin stays calm and comfortable.

Massage a few drops of oil into your skin using gentle, circular motions. Most people apply it to their bump, hips, thighs, and breasts — anywhere skin is stretching or feeling dry.

Apply once or twice a day, especially after a bath or shower when skin is still damp. This helps seal in moisture and leaves your skin feeling soft and soothed.

Many women find it becomes a calming bedtime ritual — a quiet moment of care and connection with your changing body.

Multi-purpose care

Pregnancy belly oil: Use from early pregnancy onwards to support skin as it stretches.

Body oil: A lovely all-over moisturiser for dry or menopausal skin.

Scar care: Gentle enough to apply after surgery to soothe, hydrate, and support scar healing.

Key ingredients

Rosehip extract

Packed with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and a natural form of vitamin A, rosehip supports skin regeneration and helps improve tone, elasticity, and hydration. Its nourishing properties make it ideal for dry, itchy skin during pregnancy — or for softening and fading the appearance of scars.

Amaranth extract

This soothing botanical is rich in plant sterols, tocopherols, and squalene — all of which help to calm, hydrate, and deeply nourish sensitive or stressed skin. A beautiful ingredient for maintaining skin health through pregnancy and beyond.

Vitamin E

A powerful antioxidant that helps lock in moisture, support skin repair, and improve elasticity. Vitamin E is especially helpful for reducing inflammation and enhancing the appearance of stretch marks and scars over time.

How it works

Drop down arrow

Deeply moisturises and locks in hydration

This silky oil blend is rich in omega fatty acids, thanks to nourishing sunflower seed and jojoba oils. Both are lightweight and absorb quickly, leaving your skin soft, smooth, and never greasy. Jojoba oil forms a gentle barrier to help prevent moisture loss, while sunflower oil — naturally high in vitamins E and D — soothes and protects.

Calms dry, itchy skin

As your bump grows or your skin stretches with hormonal changes, it’s common to feel dry or uncomfortable. That’s why I’ve included rosehip and amaranth extracts — two botanicals known for their calming, anti-inflammatory properties. Together, they help ease itchiness and bring soothing relief to sensitive skin.

Supports skin elasticity and reduces the appearance of scars

Rosehip extract is well known for its ability to support skin regeneration, helping to soften scars and improve tone and texture. Paired with vitamin E, which encourages healing and cell renewal, this oil supports skin as it stretches and repairs — whether you're growing a new life or entering a new season.

Aromatherapy benefits and scent

This oil has a soft, slightly nutty scent — the natural aroma of the cold-pressed plant oils inside. No essential oils have been added, making it a safe and soothing choice for every stage of pregnancy. Whether you’re nurturing a growing bump or simply caring for sensitive skin, this fragrance-free formula supports your body without overwhelming your senses.

"As a clinical aromatherapist, I truly love working with essential oils — but during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, I believe in keeping things extra gentle. That’s why I chose to leave them out of this blend, so you can use it every day with confidence and peace of mind." — Sarah, Founder of Amaranthine

Did you know?

The word Amaranthine comes from the Amaranth plant — and also describes a deep reddish-purple hue. Traditionally, it’s been used to describe something everlasting, like an imaginary flower that never fades. It's a a quiet tribute to our brand name too!

Ingredient spotlight

Rosehip helps to improve skin elasticity, which supports your skin stretching as your bump grows. It also helps to regenerate the skin, reducing the appearance of scars.

Did you know?

It’s best to avoid all essential oils in the first trimester of pregnancy. In the second and third trimester, pregnancy-safe essential oils can be used.
