Mama Bare Belly Oil

£ 29.50 GBP

Formulated for use during pregnancy, our Mama Bare Belly Oil moisturises the skin, helping to increase skin elasticity and minimising the formation of stretch marks. The organic botanical oils and extracts soothe and relieve itching caused by skin stretching.

Whilst there are many pregnancy-safe essential oils, it is best practice to avoid all essential oils in the first trimester of pregnancy, especially when using a product in such large quantities. We haven’t added essential oils to this product, choosing only natural botanicals for their proven health benefits, making it suitable for expecting mothers in all stages of pregnancy.

For a boost of hydration, we’ve blended sunflower seed oil and jojoba oil, as well as adding rosehip seed extract to improve skin elasticity and amaranth extract to soothe itchiness. This oil is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky residue.

This product is a whopping 200 ml which is bigger than most other belly oils on the market. It should last you through your entire pregnancy.

Using natural botanicals that are suitable for expecting mothers at all stages of pregnancy, our Mama Bare Belly Oil is a delicate blend of oils and extracts. We’ve used organic sunflower oil, known for being high in omega fatty acids and vitamins E and D, as well as organic rosehip and amaranth seed CO2 extracts to provide plant sterols and nutrients.

Allergies

Patch testing is advised the first time you use a new product, particularly if you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies. Test a small area of skin (the inside of your elbow or inner arm for example) and observe for 24hrs to be sure there is no reaction before applying generally.

Dispense the oil into your palms and gently massage it into your growing belly, breasts, hips, and thighs. Use morning and night throughout pregnancy.

Our Mama Bare Belly Oil comes in a premium cobalt blue Fleur d’Orange glass bottle and we include a beautiful ingredient information booklet that is tied around the neck with navy ribbon.

Storage, packaging and recycling

The product is packaged in a luxurious cobalt blue Fleur d’Orange bottle. The packaging will help to protect the oils from UV light deterioration, however it is advisable to store away from heat and sunlight to further extend the shelf life.

The glass bottle can be recycled or re-purposed, it makes a beautiful vase! The plastic lid is not recyclable.

The word ‘Amaranthine’ refers to the plant Amaranth and a colour the shade of reddish purple. It emerged as an adjective of the imaginary flower and of anything possessing its undying quality. We loved adding Amaranth into this formulation!
