Organic Muslin Face Cloth
A soft, breathable muslin face cloth made from unbleached organic cotton. Designed to gently exfoliate, lift away cleanser or masks, and turn everyday cleansing into a calming ritual, without irritation or waste.
What is a muslin face cloth?
A muslin face cloth is a lightweight, finely woven cotton cloth used to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Unlike heavier flannels or disposable wipes, muslin provides mild exfoliation while remaining soft and breathable, making it especially suitable for sensitive or reactive skin.
Amaranthine muslin cloths are made from high-quality, unbleached organic cotton and measure 29 cm x 29 cm. Slightly oversized to allow for natural shrinkage after washing, they’re designed to last and feel beautiful to use every day.
Why you’ll love using one
- Gently exfoliates without scratching or irritation
- Helps remove cleansing balm, oil cleanser, and masks more effectively
- Quick-drying and breathable for better hygiene
- Reusable and long-lasting, an alternative to disposable wipes
- Available individually or as a value bundle of three
A small but thoughtful addition to your skincare ritual, practical, beautiful, and aligned with your values.
“I chose these cloths because they offer something simple but special, a gentle way to care for your skin without waste or fuss. Soft, durable, and made with integrity, just how skincare should be.”— Sarah, Founder of Amaranthine
Use your muslin cloth to remove cleansing balm, oil cleanser, or clay face masks, or as part of a gentle daily cleanse.
Wet the cloth with hand-hot water, wring out, and sweep gently over the face. There’s no need to scrub, let the cloth do the work. Suitable for dry, sensitive, and maturing skin.
Having multiple cloths allows for easy daily rotation, one in use, one drying, and one in the wash, keeping your routine fresh and hygienic.
Caring for your cloths
These cloths are made to be washed and reused many times. Wash at 30°C for best results. They are intentionally sized slightly larger to allow for natural shrinkage after the first wash. Higher temperatures may cause additional shrinkage.

How it works
Benefits of using a muslin cloth
The softly textured weave provides light exfoliation, helping to lift away dead skin cells and surface impurities without disrupting the skin barrier. This can support smoother texture, brighter-looking skin, and better absorption of the products you apply afterwards.
Because muslin dries quickly, it’s often more hygienic than thicker cloths, particularly helpful for skin prone to congestion or breakouts. Used regularly, it can also support lymphatic drainage, helping to reduce puffiness and calm the skin as part of a slow, mindful routine.
